Where Work Meets Love…

Elizabeth Daugherty never planned on becoming an artist, but she always had a love for creativity. After designing wedding invitations for family as well as her own wedding, she tried her hand at a graphic design project for her husband for Christmas. He encouraged her to begin sharing her work with others online, from there she began working as a freelance artist creating prints and commissions for comic convention attendee’s, as well as custom graphics for YouTuber’s, businesses, and independent comic book studios. In her “free time” she is a wife and a home-schooling mom of 2 amazingly fun (and busy) kids.

What Can I Offer You?

  1. What are my strengths?

I like variety in my creation. While I have a recognizable style I also like to challenge myself by trying new styles of art. I am not afraid to learn new things, and I am not afraid to ask questions if I don't know what I am doing. My strength lies in my ability to work alone or with others to create work that tell a story. I specialize in bright kid friendly and fantasy inspired art.

  2. What can I create?
In the 12 years of experience I’ve had as a freelance artist/illustrator/designer I have taught myself to create across multiple mediums. I have designed fabric textiles for clients, created printed projects like invitations, photo announcements, flyers, and worked on digital graphics such as logos for businesses, schools, and dance studios. I also have the ability to work digitally, with pen and paper, marker, and some watercolor. I have worked on book illustrations, 1 panel comics, caricatures and more. I am excited to create and love to be inspired by the different projects I am presented with. Examples of some of my projects can be found on my portfolio page.

  3. What makes me stand out?
While I may not have the same educational background as other artists and illustrators, I have a clear artistic voice and come at things from a different perspective. I am determined, ready to learn, and enjoy trying new programs and creative styles. Whether working with physical or digital art I enjoy creating characters and designs that bring joy to others.
